The Prize Raffle Results Are In!
How do you top a successful 50/50 raffle?
This is the question a small group of Vivo champions and former Vivo board members asked themselves in the summer of 2021.
What they decided was to do a different kind of raffle. This raffle would be unique and feature prizes from local businesses in our communities.
Vivo is Vocal About Supporting Local prize raffle started to come to life. This small group of volunteers (Sue, Aileen, Ron, Noreen, and Tim) started asking for prize donations by going into local businesses and starting a conversation.
They are a clever bunch, so they also thought about who they knew through their networks too.
The result was incredible. In a few short weeks, the total value of all the donated prizes came to over $11,000.
Even before the first raffle ticket sold, this raffle was A HUGE SUCCESS!!!
